| EXHIBITION: NOOIT GEBOUWD ROTTERDAM |
A mosque where the Netherlands Architecture Institute now stands, a fairy-tale Byzantine village designed by Piet Blom on Pompenburg, a winter-garden in Schouwburgplein, a kilometre-long flat building winding its way through Oude Westen, a Science Centre on the Müller Pier, lots of high-rise projects. 'Never Built Rotterdam' in the Schielandshuis shows that city as it might have been.
Exhibition: Nooit Gebouwd Rotterdam, Schielandshuis, Korte Hoogstraat 31, Rotterdam, until August 2010, www.schielandshuis.nl.
As for what did get built in Rotterdam, read all about it in: |
