Gold Medal for Vinex Atlas

 The Vinex Atlas has won a Gold Medal in the international competition Schonste Bucher aus Aller Welt. In Leipzig a seven-person international jury worked its way through no less than 700 books from 36 countries, including the Dutch entries from the Best Dutch Book Designs of 2008.
Our heartiest congratulations go to the book's designer Joost Grootens and its compilers Jelte Boeijenga and Jeroen Mensink for this fantastic achievement.

Jury rapport:
An outstanding example of successful information-based graphics. The detailed information is clearly structured, precisely collated and in its design concept shows sure instinct right down to the last detail. Excellent design of complex contents which makes the reader eager to find out more.
